He's Aiming for Sainthood - 9 Weeks

Either that or he feels really bad about leaving me all weekend. I left work at 2 yesterday not feeling well. I came home and had some chicken noodle soup and grilled cheese, it made me feel a lot better. But I was exhausted so I laid in bed and watched TV.

B should have been home around 4 so at 4:30 when he wasn't home I sent him a text asking where he was. He was headed to K-Mart with his buddy. This really upset me. It upsets me cause he's constantly just going off and doing things after work without saying anything to me, I think it's just rude. But he got home around 5:30 I think. I was feeling terrible but I wanted to be with him because he leaves for the weekend today. So when he got home he did the dishes, cleaned the kitchen counter, swept the floor and vacuumed. Oh and he made dinner. Which I was grateful for because I felt very weak, and when I would stand up I'd feel sick.

He can be so wonderful, I don't know what I'm going to do all weekend without him!

Once again I'm home from work. I wish I could just get through a shower in the morning without having to bed over and catch my breath. On the plus side I'm 9 weeks today and that means that within the next 3 weeks this should all be subsiding. Of course the key word there is should. I'm so glad my boss seems to be understanding. Most of the time all I have to do is walk in his office and he can tell that I need to go home. I did stop in this morning after taking B to work and grab some stuff to work on from home in the rare moments when I feel good.

I hope everyone has a good weekend!

  1. You wee one doesnt like much like a bean anymore. No more tail... looks like a little baby now! How exciting. I really hope you are able to get some good rest in this weekend!

  2. Don't you love it how we automatically think our husbands have motives when they do something "out of the way" or really "nice"? I do it to mine all the time. He gets so offended! "Why can't I just do something nice for you?" "Uhhh because you don't" hahahaha..silly boys. Seriously though, he probably feels bad for you because your feeling SO rundown and is thankful that your "letting" *I know I hate that word too, but I can't think of a better one...not enough coffee yet this morning* him take off for the weekend. Your first trimester is almost over and the exhaustion should be weaning, and you'll feel human again *YAY* Get some rest this weekend. Stay in your jammies and veg out! Ahhh sounds blissfully peaceful.
    Enjoy your day and weekend!

  3. I've been away too long, but was happy to hear about the great ultrasound!! I think 8 weeks is right on the edge of using the all depends on the machine anyway. I am sorry that you are having such a hard time feeling tired and sick, but glad your hubby and boss are understanding!

  4. Yes, in a few weeks your symptoms should least to the degree you are having them right now!

Try to enjoy your weekend, but do remind hubby that once this babe is here his "disappearing acts" will have to come to a halt! There will be poopy diapers to change after all!

  5. Glad your boss is so understanding. I hope you are feeling better soon and you have a good weekend. Congratulations on being 9 weeks!

  6. I agree with beautiful mess. Everytime E does something that it is out of the ordinary (i.e. buy flowers) I am always curious as to what he had done.
