Where does the time go? Really, I feel like I just wrote her 6 Month update.
Length: I'll have to come back and update this
Weight: 17.0lbs
We just had another doctor visit a few days ago after another night of no sleep with her up screaming in pain. But this time I've switched doctors. We discussed her reflux and my concerns of her meds not working. We also discussed her weight gain and her "spitting up".
Laney is not at the max dosage for the Zantac yet so she wants to increase and re-evaluate in a month. She knows I'm not fond of the idea of just increasing, but the she said that it could work for 2 weeks and then not. If that's the case we will look at something else. Since she has gained about half a pound since her last increase I agreed knowing that she will at least discuss other options if I want in a month (or less if I see no improvement). As for her weight, she said doctors don't get too concerned until they go down 2 % groups between well child visits (3mth, 6mth, 9mth). She She only went down 1 between 3 and 6 months, but it was very close to 2 and she's almost down another one at only 7 months. She plans to keep an eye on this, but said to keep offering the solids and start with maybe some yogurt and cheeses to see if it helps with the reflux. She also said to continue the Miralax as it seems to be working.
Diapers: Still in size 3, but we've switched to the Walmart brand. They seem to be working good.
Clothes: Mostly 6-9 Months, but all the cute footless one piece outfits are too short :(
Toys: Anything she can get her hands on. Especially the foam puzzle pieces her sister leaves on the floor.
Food: sweet potatoes, green beans, plums, pears, squash, peaches, peas and apple sauce
Sleep: What's that. Actually when she's feeling good she only wakes up some nights to eat and then drifts right back off to sleep. This week I think I've gotten at most 4 hours a sleep a night since Sunday.
She is starting to get on all 4s and thinking about moving forward. Right now she has backwards and around in a circle mastered. Just last night she went FORWARD in her walker for the first time! This is something Lillian never did!
